Blacknintendo is the musical identity of Edmond Prevost Jr.—a New Orleans-born, Houston-based keyboardist, producer, and composer whose sound lives at the crossroads of soul, chillhop, and joy.

Raised in the church by a minister father and surrounded by music—from his jazz-organist uncle to his professionally singing sister—Edmond's creative roots run deep. His playing reflects that legacy: rich in emotion, groove, and spiritual warmth.

As the keyboardist for The Suffers, his chords give the band its undeniable glow. But in his solo work, Blacknintendo digs even deeper—blending jazz harmony, gospel soul, hip-hop beats, and retro video game textures into something uniquely his own.

"I just want the music to make people happy," he says. "Like Bill Evans said—don't analyze it, just enjoy it."
